Welcome to the first newsletter of 2006, once again showtime is rapidly approaching! This years SWACC Cwmbran Stadium show will be the biggest and best EVER!!! We’ve managed to secure a heat of the Classic American “Car of the Year” Trophy!!! This will be the first time “Classic American” have ventured over the bridge for the better part of two decades! (So cancel your holiday/ anniversary/ plastic surgery and come to the show!!!) We are really excited about this, as it should attract many of the top American cars in the country!
This of course means that space on the showfield will be at a premium, and we expect it to book up really quickly. We are therefore recommending that all members who wish to show their vehicles pre-enter as soon as possible.
A party night has been arranged as promised, (Hooray!!) to be held at the Rhiwbina Tennis Club in Cardiff on the evening of Friday 24th March, doors open 7.30pm. This is a social event for all club members, family and friends. It will be an evening of merriment with a disco, buffet and licensed bar. The evening will cost just £3 per head. Bookings need to be made by March 18th, !! It’ll be a great chance for us all to get together and have a laugh. So bring your family and partners, we hope to see you all there!!
